<div class="abstract">Peab has been commissioned to build the K-Citymarket supermarket in Oulu. The customer is Kesko Oyj and the contract is worth EUR 20 million, which corresponds to SEK 212 million.</div>The K-Citymarket building will be built in the new Ritaportti business and office area in the Ritaharju district of northern Oulu. The new K-Citymarket will have a gross area of 26,000 m2 and the building will be 12,000 m2 with both retail and warehouse space.&nbsp; "We're proud to be able to carry out this project which is important to both us and Kesko. This is a significant project for Peab's unit in Northern Finland and will also provide work for a large number of local construction actors," says Sakari Takkinen, Unit Manager Peab Finland.Work will begin in March 2026 and is expected to be completed in October 2027.
