Biohit är verksamt inom medicinteknik. Bolaget utvecklar och tillverkar laboratorieutrustning, förnödenheter samt diagnostiska analyssystem anpassade för forskning, vård och industrilaboratorium. Utöver huvudverksamheten erbjuds teknisk support, underhåll samt utbildningstjänster inom nämnt arbetsområde. Störst verksamhet bedrivs inom den nordiska marknaden. Bolaget har sitt huvudkontor i Helsingfors.

Antti har skrivit en ny bolagsanalys om Biohit.  Biohits aktiekurs har sjunkit och i och med det har förhållandet mellan avkastning och risk återigen blivit attraktivt. Vi höjer vår rekommendation till öka (tidigare minska) och upprepar vår riktkurs på 3,7 euro. Inga förändringar har skett i bolagets utsikter, men vi gör små justeringar i våra prognoser för de kommande åren. Ändringarna har ingen konkret betydelse för värderingen. Under det påbörjade året förväntar vi oss att Biohits defensiva lönsamma tillväxt fortsätter. Osäkerhet för året medförs av läget i Mellanöstern och utvecklingen av kundfordringar. Har alltså ingen aning hur mycket försäljning som krävs för att grossisten inte ska räcka till.
