Johan Lundin berättar om Aiforias resa från start till idag, på Helsingfors universitet (tror jag), för någon vecka sedan.  Inget investeringsmässigt relevant, men det var en intressant historia i sin helhet, med många lärdomar och inblickar i hur gropiga de tidiga stadierna av att bygga något sådant här är.

Lösningen Aiforia® Prostate Cancer Biopsy är avsedd för analys av prostataprover. Nyheten är en fortsättning på det nyligen lanserade motsvarande verktyget för diagnostik av magsäckscancer. Lanseringen av den nya modellen stöder våra tillväxtprognoser. Utvecklingstiden mer än halveras, kunddeployment på några veckor. Vi förväntar oss en accelererande tillväxt, eller med NuWays ord, “hyperscale”-år. Från transkriptionen: Nu har vi dessa Vision Transformer-teknologier, Foundation Engine-motorer, alla de fina saker vi får från den senaste tekniken. Vi tror att vi kan minska utvecklingstiden från 18 månader till 8 månader. En betydande minskning. Det går snabbare att nå intäkter (quicker to money) när vi bestämmer oss för att bygga något och när vi faktiskt kan kommersialisera det och bokföra det som intäkter. Kunddeployment är också en annan sak. Ibland har någon ifrågasatt hur lång tid det tar för oss att leverera. Om vi tittar på den nuvarande situationen har vi använt den senaste tekniken för att påskynda dessa processer, och vi kan faktiskt leverera på mindre än 4 veckor.

Aiforias utvecklingsplattform verkar rätt effektiv, när dessa godkända algoritmer dyker upp som svampar ur jorden. Visst köps det in färdigklassificerade prover för olika cancerformer, men är den verkligen så här effektiv??
